Beginings

Sam’s 36 years of industry experience began, when, at the age of 16, he became a Tow Truck Driver.  Ambitious, energetic, and anxious to please, Sam has learned by doing. 

With several years under his belt as a tow operator, Sam moved into Building and Selling Tow Trucks.  Working for Sacramento Towing Equipment, House of Wreckers, and then Chevron West, Sam traveled far and wide, meeting the needs of his many loyal customers, who valued his integrity, dedication, and practical tow truck knowledge. 

In 1996, with encouragement and advice from his wife, Veronica Neri, Sam purchased his first tow truck and went into business for himself. Thus began Sam’s Towing and Transport.  Here, Sam put into practice his strong business philosophies: Pride in Workmanship, Customer Loyalty, Dedication to his Principles, and his ever present willingness to do whatever he could to make his customers happy!

Present Day

Sam currently serves as President of the Capitol (Sacramento) Chapter of the California Tow Truck Association.  In this role, he has had the opportunity to know and learn about his fellow industry members and their individual challenges. This has given him a broader picture of the ongoing issues his customers face daily as they run their businesses.  His involvement with CTTA has included working to resolve industry issues on a State level, as well. 

Family 

Sam and Veronica Neri have lived in the Sacramento area for over 30 years.  They consider this home.

As the General Manager of Chevron West, a Division of West Coast Towing Equipment, LP, customers can rest assured that every effort - from Sales, Service, and Parts Departments alike – is wholeheartedly made to meet every customer’s needs.  Sam still holds true to his goal of doing everything possible to make his customers happy!
